Description

FDLTV Gospel Legacy Honors is a heartfelt original gospel music blog and television feature dedicated to recognizing and supporting veteran gospel music artists and their families who have faithfully served through music ministry for decades, often without receiving fair financial compensation. Many of these pioneers traveled from church to church, recorded albums, and poured their lives into uplifting communities, yet today receive little or no income due to the shift toward free digital streaming platforms. This program shines a light on their contributions, preserves their stories, and helps connect them with financial appreciation opportunities, honorariums, and community support.

Mission

The mission of this FDLTV original production is to honor, restore dignity, and offer tangible appreciation to gospel music pioneers and their spouses, children, and church families. Through interviews, storytelling, outreach, and collaboration, the program seeks to provide both emotional recognition and modest financial blessings as a token of gratitude for their lifelong musical ministry and spiritual influence.

Overview

Hosted by Dr. Bobby Jones, the show will serve as a bridge between gospel music legends and the modern audience. Dr. Jones will reach out to longtime friends and respected figures within the gospel music world, encouraging collective support and awareness. While the financial gifts may not be large, the intent is deeply meaningful — to say “Thank You” to those who gave their voices, time, and talent without expecting worldly reward.

We are prying to not only be a broadcaster, but as a servant to gospel history, community, and compassion. To carry strong emotional value, ministry integrity, and public goodwill — and to also inspire churches, sponsors, and viewers to participate in blessing those who paved the way.

Financial Integrity Statement

The FDLTV-3R1 Gospel Legacy Honors Initiative

This ministry is committed to the highest standards of financial integrity, transparency, and accountability. All monetary gifts, honorariums, one-time or recurring donations, and financial contributions received on behalf of an Honoree will be distributed directly to the designated Honoree or their approved family representative, less only necessary administrative costs. No fewer than two (2) recognized Gospel artists shall be invited to sit as Honorary Trustees with full financial transparency concerning all funds received and expended.

Administrative expenses shall not exceed twenty percent (20%) of the total funds received for any individual Honoree or initiative cycle. Every reasonable and earnest effort will be made to minimize operational and administrative costs so that the greatest possible portion of contributions reaches the intended recipient.

Disclaimer: Administrative and processing fees will be earnestly attempted to be kept at or below the twenty percent (20%) mark. In the event of an unforeseen or extraordinary expense that could exceed this percentage, such information will be clearly disclosed prior to donor commitment or fund distribution whenever reasonably possible.

To ensure trust, safety, and professional oversight, a licensed and reputable trust or fiduciary management company will be retained to oversee the handling, accounting, and distribution of funds. This independent third-party oversight is intended to provide:

Financial transparency
Accurate record-keeping
Secure fund management
Ethical compliance
Public confidence and accountability

Periodic financial summaries, confirmations of distribution, or general reports may be made available through official communication channels or upon reasonable request. The purpose of this initiative is gratitude, honor, and restoration, and all financial practices will reflect integrity consistent with that mission.
